4th of July Weekend

Went up to Willadsens' to celebrate the 4th. Had a great time hanging out and watching the kids play. Conner and Stella played better than ever and Cooper trailed behind wanting to be part of the action at all times. We were able to spend a few days with Kristy, Jay and the boys and even made it to a local bbq (where they had steamers AND lobsters!). All in all, a fantastic relaxing weekend.

One of the perks about living in a house is that there is a huge backyard for play as well as a smoothly surfaced driveway to run back and forth exerting all sorts of energy. Normally this is not our routine as Stella and I have to pack up snacks, drinks, diapers and walk over to the park. Kristy & Jay's allows you to wake up, pour yourself a cup of coffee, walk outside and sit on a chair while the kids play. This is exactly what happened one morning and we were all loving it!

Summer '08 update!!!

the biggest thing to make our readers aware of is the status of s3k's camera. it got pretty banged up in costa rica. we have since sent it to our warranty people who said they'd have it for 3 - 5 weeks. it's now been close to 6 weeks. i plan to call tomorrow and crack some skulls...

but until then, you can always trust the ol' camera phone! so the following album of pictures will replace any video updates (and still photography of quality) until i get the people from panasonic begging for mercy to keep me as a loyal customer....

overall, we've been having a GREAT summer. now that stella is a year older, we're able to do so much more with her and are pretty chock full every weekend...

sorry for the terrible design of this update, but i have no idea how to work this damn blog site, and don't have the patience to learn... heh heh. susan is SO good at it.

New Blog Template

Thought it appropriate of the season to pick warmer hues for the blog. We have been without our camera, thereby slow to update our blog with pix and such. Also, warm weather demands our presence in the great outdoors every moment we have awake so we haven't had too much computer time. Anyways, we'll get there eventually :) Hope everyone is enjoying their summer like we are!
