Halloween 2013

The Great Gatsby:

were supposed to attend with Pat and Olga, as it was he who asked us. Then he pulled it off the table due to some shady dealings with his Vendor who invited him... but then Pat said we could still go.

So we went. very interesting. about an hour outside of chicago, on a huge estate where this billionaire collects carousels, train cars and organs from the 1800s...

we arrived and walked around, exploring nooks and crannies, had a few drinks...

dinner is to start and we cannot find out table (Due to o'bryan drama), so we crash a BMO Harris sponsored table... very awkward. but a fun story nontheless...

Chicago Marathon

Today we headed downtown to cheer on Jeff Shaw as he ran the Marathon.

26.2 miles in 4 hr. 3 min.

impressive.

i'm somewhat inspired... we shall see what happens.

Pumpkin Picking 2013

This year we went to Siegel's farm southwest of the city. Near Joliet. With the Elfvins... We're going to miss them. they move to LA next summer...

it was a fun place, we were rained on (more like a monsoon) for about 15 minutes. but ended up staying the whole day.
